BIO
The French-Brazilian music producer, DJ, and live act Ella Romand has been lighting up the dance scene for over a decade, combining the rhythms of her home country Brazil with Deep and Melodic House, while performing live.
Her background as a pianist led her to play the keys live during her DJ sets, first with her electronic music group Dsided, then on her own solo live acts, where she takes the crowd on a melodic journey.
Her passion for music started early on as she is a classically trained pianist. She went further with her career and moved to the U.S. to pursue a Degree in Music, specializing in Music Technology at Florida International University.
Based in Miami, Ella blends her moody melodies with ethnic sounds, which has allowed her to play alongside DJs like Lee Burridge, Bob Moses, Bedouin, Satori, Behrouz, YokoO, Eli & Fur, and many more. Ella was also invited to co-produce, compose and perform with the acclaimed New World Symphony, working with over 8O musicians for a one-of-a-kind encounter of Classical and Electronic Music.
Ella has performed on major stages such as Ultra Festival (Miami), Cityfox Live (Brooklyn), Kuna Festival (NYC), Soundtuary (Miami), Gardens of Babylon (Miami & Germany), III Points (Miami), among others. As a Music Producer, Ella has tracks released with Manual Music, Go Deeva, Minds Alike and she also recently collaborated with the talented Italian producer Giorgia Angiuli on her new label United.
Her newest endeavor is her radio show called Ellaments on Frisky Radio, which surpassed 100K plays in less than a year. The show features new and upcoming artists and labels of Deep, Organic, Afro, and Melodic House.

About your instructor
Music Producer, pianist, and composer Ella Romand has been working in the Music industry for the past 13 years as a composer, music producer and project manager for a variety of genres as well as ad campaigns. Her expertise and skills led her team's work to receive an Emmy nomination for Best Non-English Language with the TV Show “El Recluso” in 2019.
A classically trained pianist and composer, Ella holds a degree in Music Technology at Florida International University. Her French & Brazilian background can be heard in the ethnic sounds yet cinematic approach to her compositions. She has produced in an array of genres that vary from introspective piano pieces to deep melodic house with sultry vocals. Additionally, Ella has worked as lead Project Manager and Business Development for the DJ Mixes Spotify, launching more than 100 mixes globally and working with some of the most relevant artists in the Dance & Electronic Music scene, including Tiesto, BLOND:ISH, Sofi Tukker, Vintage Culture and many others.
Performing at music festivals, both nationally and abroad, Ella also co-produced, composed and performed with the acclaimed New World Symphony, where she delivered four original compositions to be performed by over 80 musicians for a one-of-a-kind encounter of Classical and Electronic music.
